It's 8:00 so I check closing. 10:00 plenty of time. Grab my 3 pieces of drywall, clips, batteries and shovel. I head to the register, one line open with self checkout. I'm third in line finally moving up to the number two spot. More have filled in behind me, some that can hit self check do. When 9:15 hit I walked out, leaving my items STILL in the number two spot. Gen-X fit, maybe. Is customer service really that foreign now that you can't open a second lane to get people out of there? Apparently so. HD is .04 miles down the road, check there for my follow up. Ridiculous.

Lowe’s has the worst customer service. We went in for an item looked on line for what isle it wasn’t on it wasn’t there. Ask 5 different people who also looked online and said it was on the same isle it was on. Continuing to tell them it wasn’t there. Not one person went to look just insisted it was the was there. One person said it was in plumbing. Finally the 5th person said it was outside with fencing. It was 7:00 in the morning not busy a lot of people standing around at returns desk. It’s apparent that staff is not willing to know were products are or help customers find it. Feel like Home Depot has a higher standard and more knowledge people who they higher.

Very rude clerk in gardening department today. She totaled my purchase without asking "My Lowes or military?" that I am normally asked. I asked her and she said that I didn't tell her. I told her she hadn't asked. Then she went on to tell me she had worked there 20 years and was rude. I spoke with the manager and he said that their employees are NOT supposed to ask. Really? Our veterans are reduced to having to ask for a discount. Gee, they really appreciate our service dont they?

Huge store. Be prepared to walk. Good outdoors section. They have a reduced price section which often has great deals. Best around. Also, this is the only place I can get potassium salt tablets for my water softener. A big plus for me. Same with all these DIY stores, it can be a challenge to find what you are looking for and often a challenge to find staff.

Same CDC standards as most other stores. Masks, sanitizer and distance.
According to their website, the thickest plywood they have is 3/4". I checked Home Depot's website and that is the thickest they list also. I would suggest calling one or both of them and checking. They might suggest where you can get 1 inch thick plywood. Hope this helps.
They do sell bottle brush bushes, but not sure about trees.
Colvin this is hardly the venue for that question. I honestly don't even know how to answer it anyways because you've given no $ information on "Your retirement pay". I'm perplexed. Sorry I can't help you.
There are shrubs trimmed to appear like pine trees
