I am in IVRS as we speak, it's a greate place! The food is greate, the staff is awsome, the clients are cool, we are a big family, I highly recommend it to anyone struggling with drug or alcohol addiction π

This was my first experience at an inpatient program and quite honestly probably my last considering how badly I was treated for the 4 days I was in there. I donβt know if other rehab programs are different but this one had some real ego tripping nurses, especially Kristy, who did not have my best interests at heart. I wouldβve been there there for a month if it werenβt for the lack of regard I felt in COVID isolation. I did not feel safe here which is why I had to leave. Hopefully someday I can have trust in another program because I do think in theory, inpatient rehab is a good idea for anyone battling with an addictive personality. Those who are more outspoken, this isnβt the place for you....your voice will not be heard no matter how hard you try.

I donβt know how to thank IRVS enough! Thank you so much to Jennifer, Alex and all the nurses there! They helped me when I thought it was impossible. Everyone was extremely helpful and patient and understanding and boy did they feed us! And not nasty food either. I would highly recommend this facility. I did detox for 7 days and although relieved I was done, I wish I could of stayed for the residential but due to other things I had to take care off I have to do out patient. They really go out of their way to assist you and show you the way. Thank you IRVS and everyone!

Hi, π
Food is good... Visiting is like 6 hours on Saturday but people visiting have to sit through a 2 hour class before they're allowed in
Hi Jess! During Detox stage, you can bring about 1 weeks worth of clothing(theres washers and dryers avalibity) certain snacks/foods such as ramen noodles, beef jerky, peanut butter, instant coffee and powder creamer. However, if you are detoxing, you may not want to eat much until you transfer into residential. The meals prepared for detox are suffient for what your body will need :) I hope that helps. Oh, and you wouldnt want to bring any vauleables, other than cell phone and head phones for music (after the first 7 days of black out period is up). Comfy close for sure.
Admissions is thru placement by calling SU Cares or SARC depending on your county, they also work with parole. Clients have full days of groups/classes but it's not overwhelming. After around 6pm you have the rest of the evening to yourself. Hope this helps.
Everyone has to be vaccinated even the person your visiting and you would have to call and find out about the class tho I'm not to sure
Yes patients are allowed to have and wear cosmetics, they are allowed to have cigarettes and are given a generous amount of cigarette breaks. As well as snacks they are given a list of snacks they are allowed to have. Meals are provided 3 times a day as well as night time snacks. There are also vending machines. Also its suggested to bring your own cup to fill up with water that is provided threw out the day. And coffee provided in the morning and sometimes during meetings. If you don't have a cup they can get you one. Its just fun if a friend or family member brings you a personal cup( :
It depends cuz sometimes they are in detox for 7 days or 14 days depending what drug they are coming off of. But they have a detox counselor who determines if they can go to residential before there time
They won't there not allowed to touch you.
