Had to get our motor replaced the first time around and the guy was fast and efficient! Second time around, my tension spring or whatever it's called snapped and the technician was just as efficient as the first time around. Both techs took the time to explain to me how the garage door mechanisms work and i had a way better understanding, which is nice and helps me feel like im not getting ripped off. Excellent experience! The technician fixed my door problem quickly and efficiently. I have to add that I called them at 10:30am and the tech was at my house by 12:30pm which was fantastic. Also, the tech helped me set up an app and help me understand how to use myQ. He didn’t need to do that, but he did - speaks for the character of this company. Yes we service North County San Diego including Oceanside. We are available for service and repair of your garage door and or new door installations. It depends on the work you are looking for but our service technicians do have a fully stocked van.
Check the spring chart in the installation instructions for your door. You will find the correct number of turns for doors up to 8’ tall with standard track installation.
If you can hear the electric motor working, but the belt or chain isn’t moving, you might have stripped gears. Most garage door openers have plastic gears, and constant friction wears them out so they can’t pull the belt or chain.
