Roy was fast, efficient and knowledgeable. They were very responsive and at the house within a couple hours on a weekend. They seem to be fairly priced and do not charge for weekend "emergencies". I highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed...

These guys were fantastic. Smooth and pleasant experience from scheduling through repair. Repair happened the next day, only because our door required a different part than he had with him. We will use them again, and recommend. Thanks San Diego Garage Doors!

Highly recommended for their professional, prompt and reasonably priced services. My garage door broke and I was locked out of my home. The technician came out in under an hour and was able to open my door without damaging the panels and repaired the door in under 30 minutes. They are very knowledgeable about their craft and very pleasant to work with. Great job.

Great service and ultra fast. We had an old wood single flip door style garage in desperate need of replacing. SD Garage had someone out to do a free estimate the day after I called and their quote was $400 below everyone else. After I approved the estimate they had someone out to do the job two days later and he had my old door off and the new door and motor on in less than 3 hours. I could not be happier with the speed or price. I highly recommend them!

A garage door should not make disturbing noises when being operated. There definitely is a problem somewhere. It could be that the cables are under strain for some reason; maybe one of them is off the drum. It could also be a spring that is overly wound, or even damaged. It could also be the motor in the garage door opener. A quick inspection by one of our technicians can help pinpoint the source of the problem within minutes.
Just like your car, bike, or any other machine, your garage door needs good maintenance in order to keep it working well. And there are some things you can do to help with that. One, you can brush and clean the tracks in order to keep them clean. Two, you can lubricate the moving parts with a little bit of grease in order to prevent friction-based wear. But most importantly you should have a garage door specialist over for a service run either once or twice a year. They can replace the cables, check on the springs, and other key areas.
We will need to be on site in order to estimate the cost
As garage door specialists we stock all garage door parts and have them with us any time we carry out a repair or service. Not only is that convenient to both us and the clients, it also has another major benefit – we are able to install and use high quality parts that we trust to give you the best service possible. In spite of all that, we can still allow you to buy parts on your own and install them – so long as they are quality parts that we feel comfortable enough to use on your garage door.
If your garage door used to open or close quicker in the beginning and now it has slowed down then that indicates that there’s a problem somewhere. If it’s not a problem with cables, springs, or the shaft then the garage door opener could be the issue. Maybe the opener is damaged. Or maybe the opener is too weak for the size of your garage door. As always, the right diagnosis can only be made on site and after inspecting the door in question.
Garage doors suffer such damage all the time. People run into their garage doors when about to park and other times they back into them when reversing out of the house. The good news is that there is a solution. We offer replacement of damaged garage door panels. We can take out the affected section and replace it with a duplicate. We can fit a replacement section on the same day if it’s a common design. If it’s a unique design we may need to have a custom piece manufactured.
For each motor of your garage door, you will receive two remotes as each door needs its own motor to operate.
Yes, you can pull the manual release lever downwards in case of disengage, and push the manual release lever up afterward.
Don’t worry, there’s nothing to worry about. All you need is a service for your garage door that can help prevent it from making abnormal noises. This usually occurs when the door moving parts become dry and cause extra friction and wear to your door parts.
Yes but if you have an electric garage door opener, then the lock is not required as it will be automatic.
Yes, you can wash the coated surface of your garage door
