I did not enjoy my experience. The administration was disorganized. The shared rooms, bathrooms gave no sense of any sort of privacy. The twin size beds for an adult male of 6'2 was problematic. The rooms badly needed renovations. The 3am bed checks with a mag light being shone in my face every morning was unacceptable. I did not feel heard by the staff. The programming did not focus on the individual but on the illness, meaning every persons relationship with addiction is unique and that was totally ignored. A one size fits all treatment strategy is not ideal. Ultimately I felt like I was being herded through a program that did not fit my needs. I felt like a number to staff.

First and foremost thank you BFC of another chance at a quality life. The counselors at DuPont were incredible shout out to Brian, George and Fred! You all gave me a tremendous experience! Also, shout out to Jillian for being so kind, helpful and beautiful! Some of the medical staff isn't the best trained or the best people, for that matter. They dispense the wrong medication and blame you or discount your experience as being invalid, although it is. The techs at residential are great, but some of those on daisy lane are dishonest. Saying they saw some things happen that did not in fact happen. Besides that it was a great rehab experience, all in all, and I'm very happily sober!

It was my first time having health insurance, so when the opportunity came up to go to rehab after 15 of struggling with addiction, I went for it. It was the best decision I have ever made. Group counseling, one on one with a counselor, Equine Therapy, Yoga, lectures on coping skills, understanding the disease from a clinical perspective, 12 Step modalities, Refuge Recovery, meditation, Psychiatry and a community of peers with the same goal - to survive. My days at Daisy Lane were two of the most beautiful months of my life. Not enough amazing things could be said about the staff. I absorbed every piece of information, every tool they gave me to combat this malady - and I got to work. It set up a beautiful foundation for my sobriety, and now that I’m out in the world, I’m applying everything I learned into my every day life. Thank you all for such an amazing experience. Side note - I did work with a therapist via TeleHealth during my stay at Daisy Lane for heavy trauma work. That also helped my healing process.

I felt like this institution was an addiction factory with a constant influx of patients coming and going and that I was just another number. No empathy or real connection with the staff. A staff member went off on me because I was having cravings. I felt lost with no real support and relapsed during my stay. They unfortunately seem to care most when you decide to leave. This place might be for some but it was not the place for me to recover.

Yes
Yes, we are open for in-person treatment.
👍 yes...
None of our facilities match the hospital standards required of Medicare providers. So, at present, that is not an option for us.
Not housing, no. They have to get a hotel room.
I believe they do, but call them and they will check with your insurance.
Probobly not being its on of the most experience rehabs.
They will arrange transportation for you. They have their own shuttles.
I suppose you could, but there is not a Starbucks on campus that I'm aware of. I'd call first though as I've not attended a reunion in 5 years.
Yes. Women are separated from the men. Lectures and meals are the only time they are in the same room, but they are still separated.
If you're talking drugs and alcohol.....yes they do.
I doubt they do, but I'd call.
The alumni meeting is Friday nights at 6:30
