Such a great park! Especially if you have children and a dog or dogs. There’s a place for the children to play- and grass area right by it for you to be with your pup. Please do everyone a favor And bring puppy poop bags just in case. There are also benches and picnic tables around for you to eat and or sit and watch.

This park has workout stations and a beautiful path the playground equipment is awesome, safe, and you can walk your dog or cat there too. It is a fabulous park.

Wow! Such a gem of a park we had a few hours to use up in the palm desert area when we were traveling through and wanted to stop at at playground for the kids. We found that here and so much more. The scenery is beautiful. There is lots of shade and lots of things to do. Our hotel for the evening was close to this park, but I would definitely drive out of the way if we were in palm desert to come back. Only complaint is that the bathrooms are far from the playground but still pretty close.

I've been going to this park since high school. It was quite Bland and not for kids even though they had a tiny playground tucked in the back. They redid the park and it is beyond amazing! They have an area for kids and it's about four or five times the size of what it used to be! The basketball courts are still there and the vast amount of grass. They have tennis courts still in the bathroom stay clean. We visit this park more than any other park now and are not worried about the drive. It is very quiet and quite some nice views around!

Yes their is BBQ grills throughout the park
I don't believe so but I will call if I were you to be sure. It may also depend on what type of party you're planning on having such as music, equipment, and things like that. Call just to be on the safe side.
No you don't need a reservations to use the tennis court it is first come can use them they are usually not used or busy.
You can call the City of Rancho Mirage to double check, I'm not sure..
Yes they are still there, one is now pickleball. Park isnt called Whitewater amymore, it's Rancho Mirage Coumunity Park. That's bc it was getting mixed up with Whitewater Preserve. I played tenmis there a few weeks ago, the surface is pretty decent for a park.
