If you’re anywhere near this area in Kansas, it’s definitely worth the detour, for a nice rest and walk to stretch your legs. There are acceptably clean out houses and plenty of space to park. There is no charge for this attraction. The trail is very short but the views of the rocks are out of this world! Very cool and unique formations. The kids loved seeing them and were very happy we stopped.

Five acre state park with unique rock formations. Nice vault toilet, but not much else. Long drive on gravel road to get there.

We loved stopping here on our trip to Colorado. This place is litterally in the middle of nowhere. The kids (and dog) loved getting to run around after being in the car for several hours and getting the explore these cool formations. A must stop in you are driving near it!

This was a wonderfully surprising place to visit. Especially since the idea of Kansas is flat and boring, this place was really great. Being able to climb all over the rocks was fun for the kids. There were a few walking trails around the small park. The toilet house is a welcome addition to the park because it really is in the middle of nowhere.

Might have to give CSETI a call and set up a remote viewing session! Recommend talking to the site organizers about anything after dark, not 100% sure on park hours

The area is composed of unusual outcroppings of sandstone that look like mushrooms. These large formations were formed by erosion and aren't typically found in this area. By the way, my relatives lived just a couple of miles from the site and we are very proud of this unique area.
