It had helpful information, but be prepared to wear a mask since they are located so close to Canada. Ridiculous rules in East Glacier. West Glacier these rules do not apply.

Great stop at the entrance to the park. Main building was updated, clean and not too busy. Had charging station for your phone, as well as a nice little 'museum' area which the kids liked. The restrooms are located outside the main building and could use an upgrade.

If only visiting Glacier National Park from the east side, then this will be your main information stop on the park. Also, to get your jr range books. There is a small gift shop there with some cool shirts, hats and books about the park.

The rangers here were very helpful in giving advice about which trails are best for our ability level. They answered all our questions and made wonderful suggestions. There are outdoor bathrooms that are clean and a bottle fill station.

The west side is open but all east entrances are closed.

Actually you can buy a spray at the visitor center.
I am not 100% sure, but I know you can buy it at the Ranger Park Entry station just outside St Mary Visitor Center. To enter the Park and make a right hand turn into the Visitor Center, you have to go through the Park Entry station. You can use credit card.
We were told by a park ranger to park our vehicle on the side of the road. When we returned there was a violation sticker on our window.
