The Cottages At Glacier

We had a wonderful time exploring Glacier and Waterton while staying at the Cottages. The view from our cottage was a superb view of St. Mary Lake and Glacier Park. The accommodations were excellent, we especially enjoyed the deck and fireplace. Sally and Terry were very friendly. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Sally and Terry are great hosts and the cabins (Citadel and Triple Divide) were clean, well supplied and comfortable. We have always gone to West Glacier but East Glacier is much better in my opinion. The number of people are about 80% West and 20% East so you're not feeling like you re in a crowded amusement park. The wildlife viewing is better in my opinion since we saw multiple grizzly bears, moose, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, and deer. Additionally we saw foxes, elk, and all sorts of birds. The location and views from The Cottages at Glacier are outstanding and in the following photos you can see the view from our decks (photo 1 at normal view & photo 2 at a Zoom in on the mountains). The last photo is the East Glacier National Park entrance and visitor center also from our deck and you can see the lack of crowds and adequate parking. These photos were all from June 29, 2022. These cabins are a great place to stay if you are visiting Glacier National Park! So close to the east entrance of Going-To-The-Sun-Road you cant beat this location! It is also a short drive to Many Glacier which is where we did most of our hiking. We were extremely happy in The Cottages At Glacier and Sally & Terry were great host. They recommended hikes to do on one day that we had rainy weather which was very helpful. The cabin also had everything we needed! Recommend to anyone visiting Glacier!

Sally and Terry always go out of their way to make us feel at home. These cottages are some of the best views of Glacier, even though they are just outside of the actual park. The rooms are big and beds comfortable and full living room with pull out couch, full kitchen with lots of provisions like condiments already provided, and nice sized bathroom too. St. Mary's store is close by as well for any needs. You are a quick drive to Many Glaciers or Logan Pass, but make sure you have a reservation, even if the pass is closed. We learned the hard way as I thought you didn't need a reservation for Going to the Sun Road if Logan Pass was still closed/snowed in. This is the second time I've stayed in Heaven's Peak 336 cabin/cottage and it just keeps getting better each time.
