Great walk. I did this as a part of the Sky's the Limit 2022 Challenge. It's apart of the airline trail and although it's not paved, it's well packed down dirt/gravel, so great for biking. Restrooms along the route. Benches to rest along the route if you need to. We walked 4 miles (2 back and fourth) and it was a nice relaxing walk with beautiful views of the woods and it was nice and shaded most of the way. The tunnels and rock formations we're very cool. There were little fish and frogs in the streams from the water that's trickled off the rocks on the sides of the path. Not too buggy. Very enjoyable.

Nice little diamond in the rough with a good little scramble to get the heart going. Nice quick 1.7m around the hill

Love this trail with lots to see and the history is still very around you. See the old phone poles as we count just under 50 poles on our walk

A great place to go hiking but I would either avoid the Mohegan trail and some of the other back trails during late spring to early fall or take protective measures because it gets a bit overgrown. You and your pets are bound to come away with a few (if not many) ticks.

There is a parking lot on route 44/6 called bolton notch state park. On maps its the Hop Trail and you can aldo park at the hop river trail in vernon off church street. In addition a nice version of the trail is near Amston to East Hampton, the so called airline trail
