Our big family campout with >50 people was one of the most fun trips I've ever been on. Although the scenery and view is really what makes this place special, the fantastic staff at Sun Canyon Lodge really made it great. They were all super friendly, very flexible, and made an effort to remember everyone's names. Those that went horseback riding said the guide was 'such a darling', and really enjoyed it. When we weren't making our own meals, the lodge was a really nice place to grab a BIG breakfast and coffee in the morning, or a great dinner and beer in the evening. The bathroom/shower house was very clean and rarely busy. The outhouse nearer our cabin was, well, an outhouse. For being a campground so far from the nearest big town (Helena or Great Falls), and right next to the giant Bob Marshall wilderness, it really wasn't 'roughing' it. We had such a fantastic time with so many memories made. I believe my aunt has already booked cabins and trailers for 2023, and I am really looking forward to it.

I would recommend this outfit as they have it together. From the owner to the guides to the staff at the lodge and in the bush all we got was professionalism. Call me any time as all you're going to hear from me is these guys are great. Cheers.

LOVE staying here! Every time I have stayed here I have had a great experience. The setting is beautiful, the lodge food is amazing, and the service is exceptional. Definitely a great place to stay!

Being from Great Falls, we hit the Lodge a few times per year. Always love stopping in. The bartender from Helena (sorry don't know her name) was fantastic. She was great. Food was great. Drinks were cold. I am sure we will be back soon to visit. I do miss all of the dead animals in the bar though. It was like a museum of awesome carcasses.
