We were called by someone at Kaiser around Thanksgiving of 2021 letting us know that if we required a therapist, they had just teamed up with a company called Cyti Psych and they were offering the first 26 sessions free, with only the co-pay after that. This was an offer that we couldn't refuse and so we signed up with them. After 8 sessions we received a bill for over $800 and even though when I called I was told that there had been others who had been given the same "misinformation", nothing has been done to rectify this and we are still on the hook for the bill.

I had two primary care physicians. The first doctor I saw was very unprofessional and rude during the initial exam so I switched to another PCP. New PCP refused to refer me to specialist. I received a notification from my old health care provider that I need to receive a treatment and she refused to refer me to the specialist. I switched to another Kaiser facility in Carmel Valley. The Carmel Valley staff is very professional and actually provide care. I was able to get the referrals to specialists that I needed.

Outstanding care, and professionalism! I am tough. I work in medical patient advocacy and had my first appointment today. From parking, first contact on entering the building, I had very pleasant help checking in, less than a minute wait time till I was met by my nurse, Juan Pablo Perez, who was AMAZING! So personable, that giving my weight and vitals felt like a breath of fresh air with a new friend. My Dr, Dr Brigitta Hufnagel, was perfect. Attentive, caring, thorough, and direct. I was in and out in a flash, without feeling like anything was missed. I was given options for my care and my options were listened to and respected. Then I went to check-out/check-in to my labs. I wish I got her name, because she was wonderful as well. Not missing a step in safety protocol, which working in medical myself, I recognize things that would normally escape attention. Friendly and efficient. Then onto the lab. Who likes that? I didn’t feel a thing! And I didn’t get her name as well, unfortunately! Once again, friendly, top notch professionals every step of the way! Couldn’t be more pleased! The value in my co-pay was there 100% and more!

I spent a lot of wasted time on the phone trying to get through to the pharmacy because the website was incorrect. I needed To know hours of operation and the website said closed. It also said hours may be different due to Veterans Day. Why not just say closed on these days, and list them. On the upside, they were open and the pharmacy tech was very helpful.

It's at the north end of Bernardo Center drive. In the same parking lot as Souplantation and Stir Fresh.
Im not aware of any specialists here, sorry
Patti, Members can use either of the Kaiser Permanente hospitals (Zion Medical Center or San Diego Medical Center). Your primary care physician can advise based on the care needed.
William, thank you for your interest in receiving the vaccine. You don't need to call or email us. We'll let you know by letter or email when we can schedule you. Since supplies are low, it'll take time to offer everyone an appointment.
Unfortunately, not. Escondido is the closest with a vision department.
Rule of thumb for All businesses in RB, since the community rolls up the sidewalks at 8 pm and unroll them at 6am the businesses will be open when they unroll them and close 2 hours before the roll them. If they can be closed they will be. If they are required to be open they will, only they will abridge the hours required... that means always shorter hours than any one within 50 miles...
They have a wide variety of options I don't believe behavioral health is one of them at least not at this location but I know they have that option in both the San Marcos and Point Loma locations.
