The one hard, rough-sounding honey got snappy with me when I asked her a question about getting an item in...& got loud with me, snapping at me in her sailor voice saying, 'LOOK HONEY THIS IS A DONATION STORE, SO WHO EVER DONATES IS WHAT COMES IN!' Well look honey, it was beneath me to come to you to ask for what I needed to begin with since I don't rely on a man like you do, but at the same time, I'm flattered you called me honey at almost 50 years old!!

Nice store with decent selection, deducted a star due to poor attitudes by some of the staff such as yelling at customers, not packing breakables just throwing them all together in a bag, and having things set up poorly for walker/wheelchair users. Also there is a ramp at main door that can be tricky to manuever through both entering and exiting so be careful. The second set of doors are flat and easier to get through, sometimes one is even propped open. They run special sales often and proceeds go to helping others. Overall I highly recommend checking it out and will return 🙂

The store is neatly arranged and the staff members are nice, BUT the prices are unbelievably high. I saw items with Dollar Tree tags priced at $5!!! Really. As someone mentioned, they put eBay print outs next to items to make it look like their prices are a bargain. I was watching a basic model Brother sewing machine priced at $79--a more advanced model BRAND NEW can be found for less! I miss their Donora store--the merchandise was priced fairly.

Well as if this morning I went to hidden treasures found a bed for myself and I was going to pay for it, and all heck broke loose because she treated me so badly I walked out crying, I’m trying to take care of everything on my own and not take hand outs, I asked the lady if I could pay half and come back pick up the bed tomorrow so it wouldn’t get wet, she asked me does it look like they are a storage unit and I said no ma’am but I’m willing to pay for it, she said we don’t hold items for ppl regardless if I’m a fire victim or not, there’s the Red Cross and Salvation Army for my kind of ppl, Mickey was with me he had a few choice words with her, and I said to everyone in there for the prices they have they could by brand new and trust me not every suppose missions store is like them. I felt like a crack head begging, and I’m not going into them places again. The kids bedroom suits are on layaway at speedy furniture I just figured I’d get second hand. I’m feeling so low right now.
