Kyle and Davis are an asset to your company. These gentlemen were on time, clean, and courteous of my animals and home. They took their time and I feel treated my home like their own. They took before and after photos, and it was like night and day. They went above and beyond the service as well by moving items out of the way, putting them back, and cleaning the coils. Very knowledgeable about the work also... Did you know the average human sheds 7 lbs of skin in a year and guess where that goes, which can deplete airflow by 85%! I could tell a difference by the cleaning as soon as AC came on. Duct cleaning was 6 hours and so worth it to preserve my forever home. Highly Recommend.

Great service and great troubleshooting. My AC completely stopped on Wednesday and had someone out by Friday morning the same week. Tanner Temple came out and worked on my unit for a good 2ish hours while it was pouring out. He did his magic and my ac was blowing winds from Antarctica out. He even stayed a little longer to make sure it started cooling down the whole house and the new thermostat he installed was working accordingly. Hard to come across service like his.

Our outside unit stopped working unexpectedly on Memorial Day and Aire Serv was able to come out the same day. Tanner was able to get our system running again. They are a very professional company and well priced. There was a quick callback to get the appointment and Tanner was amazing. We will definitely use Aire Serv in the future.

We have been customers for almost 20 years. With any issues that we have had between 2 properties, they were able to diagnose and repair with in 1-2 days. This company makes their customers feel like family. Rich, Marsha, Brianna and the whole team deliver the BEST customer service around. They are also punctual, polite, reasonably priced, and clean too. We would recommend this company to anyone!

Should I replace or repair my unit?

Rich Watson | Aug 31, 2020
Rich Watson | Aug 31, 2020

If your unit is 10 years or older and the cost to repair it is pricey, then it could be a good time to consider replacing your ac unit. One general rule of thumb many ac repair technicians use to calculate whether it’s more cost efficient to repair or replace a unit is to multiply the repair cost by the age of the unit. If the cost of the repairs multiplied by the age of the unit (in years) exceeds $5,000, it’s reasonable to replace it.

What to do prior to your HVAC technician’s arrival?

Rich Watson | Aug 31, 2020
Rich Watson | Aug 31, 2020

Clear the way for your Technician to work. Your air conditioning unit is probably tucked away in a hidden corner of the home or among furniture or other items in your yard. Clear the path around the unit, so that your technician has plenty of room to move around and make the necessary repairs. Securing pets will ensure safety of your technician, and pets alike. Before your technician arrives, make a list of symptoms to help identify the problem. Did the unit stop working? Did it make a noise? Is there an odor? Is there a water leak? Is it not receiving power ? Is it not cooling properly? Answering questions like this with our customer service representatives when setting your appointment can assist in speeding up the repair time. Shut the system off at the breaker. This will allow for any potential frozen components we cannot see to thaw, enabling your technician to perform a complete and thorough diagnostic, and prevent further damage from occurring.

What happens if I don’t change my air filter once a month?

Rich Watson | Aug 31, 2020
Rich Watson | Aug 31, 2020

The unfortunate eventual outcome of not changing your air filter, besides a higher energy bill from running an inefficient HVAC system, is that it will stop working altogether. Your HVAC system is powered by a fan motor that has to work harder when there is a clogged filter. Dust and dirt restrict airflow. This extra strain can make the motor overheat or even break, dust and dirt will recirculate throughout your home.

How long should my system last?

Rich Watson | Aug 31, 2020
Rich Watson | Aug 31, 2020

On average a system can last between 10 to 15 years with preventative maintenance. The life expectancy of any HVAC system or equipment depends on a variety of factors, weather conditions, geographical location, whether you have had preventative maintenance and service performed on them, as well as the type of equipment and your usage. We recommend you have a qualified HVAC technician perform maintenance at least twice a year on your equipment. Maintenance will prevent and catch potential issues with your air conditioner, and reduce the likelihood of failures taking place down the road.
