I wouldn’t recommend being an employee for this company especially at this location or logistics department. I worked for only 5 days. During my interview, Clive was very assuring how great the atmosphere was working as a team. Told me they would love feed back about training if it wasn’t going to well, because they don’t have a proper training team. I started on June 1st. I was told to come in at 7:30am. I arrived, no one was around to show me where to go, I waited in the lobby about 30 minutes. Called Calvin their HR, told him I was here, he thought I was there for an interview, I explained that it was my first day and needed to report to him. Very unprofessional that he didn’t know I was starting and had to wait over 30 minutes. He eventually took me to the logistics department where I was assigned. They had no idea I was starting either. First day was all over the place. They put me with an employee named Leon, who told me he was only there a little over 6 months, had experience in logistics prior to working with the company, and said he didn’t receive proper training and had to catch on by hisself. He showed me a few simple things to do which I accomplished. He talked very low which was hard for me to hear at times,but I still managed to catch on and do what I was told. My last day which was June 9th, not knowing it’d be my last day. Leon wanted me to do something that he only showed me to do on my first day of work. I had questions for him as I’m going through the process. He was getting frustrated and impatient with me. I felt uncomfortable and scared to continue to ask questions. Later on he went to the manager and told him I wasn’t catching on. After I clocked out I was told that would be my last day because I wasn’t catching on to what needed to be done. They didn’t ask if I was being trained correctly or anything. They based it off of an employee who was there longer then me and assumed I’m not capable of doing my job. It wasn’t fair at all. There’s more to this experience, but I’m in the process of filling paperwork to go to court about it. This company is very unprofessional and doesn’t care about their new employees!
