This has been where I've went since the early eighties...and they are still as wonderful and take great care of their patients. Dr. Bill is such an asset and I hope and pray he staysfor a long, long time!!

Made an appointment for 1:30pm and am now leaving at 2:40pm without being treated. Called once and was told the nurse would be out in a bit. Waited and called again, was told that the nurse would be out in 15 minutes. The old lady at the desk is not upfront about how long the wait is. Realistically, be prepared to wait over an hour because they only have one nurse.

We do not currently take walk ins, however if you call, we usually can schedule you within the week. If you need urgent care, the closest places unfortunately may be in Wilmington.
So this is something that the health department is overseeing, not Black River. As of the first week in January all seniors over 75 in Pender county are eligible! To set this up you can contact the health department directly 910 259 1230
