Very nice campground. Very clean toiletts and Showers are nice. Showers use quarters to run. Some nice people gave us a payed for campground but the camp host did not enjoy that and made us pay for it too. Did not fully understand the rule because the site was already payed for by the campers but still was very nice stay. Cold river right next to the campground.

Very clean, nice little camping spot. Good bathrooms, clean coin op showers, easy river access, close to town for ice and food runs. Only negatives are being very close to the highway and how far out the spots get reserved! I'm talking 4+ months, you better be on it or you have to gamble with the first come first served spots.

Very quiet area next to the Creek that runs to Smith River...you can hear the sound of the rushing water from the campsites. There are two shower houses which are coin op/quarters only Spray nozzles could use some work but water was hot quickly and was a good length of time for just $1. No hookups but nice spurs wide enough for my 34' TT and my 3500 Truck, with fire pit.

It's about $15. They may charge for an extra car. The showers take quarters. It's half off with a State Golden Bear pass or Nat'l park pass. I believe seniors get $2 off.
Lots of campsights. Water level dropping.. still too cold for me to be swimming yet.brrrr.
Yes it is open
Sinks and swimming YES!!

Yes. It's $15 per night plus booking fees fees @ Recreation.gov.
You would have to drive a couple miles up the road to go in the mountains to ride.. .
Called Gasquet Ranger District Smith National Recreation Area 6-17-19 and was told showers are for everyone, not just campers.
I was there this weekend. I was able to take a shower for $1.25. I believe that's about 5 to 6 min. You have to put $. 75 to get it started. There is not a change machine so bring quarters. The camp host was out of quarters and fire wood this past weekend. So it's best to always come prepared. The water pressure is great and the temp was perfect in my opinion. The shower head is a bit short but for someone who is 5'7" it was fine. It is always equipped with a shower chair/bench for those that need it and sturdy hand rails.
I believe 40 foot is max. Beautiful campground, but they did turn off the water for the season. Only the toilets work.
