Great place to find a wide variety of fabrics at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and I will most definitely come back for future San Fran trips!

Worth the travel! It's a trek to get to but the warehouse has a huge selection of good fabrics, notions and dyes. I LOVE Discount Fabrics!

Oh my goodness!!! There are rows and rows of fabric, poly, silk, cotton, flannel, embroidered, linen, and anything else you can think of. There's a huge section of notions, including thread, needles, zippers, rulers of all kinds, and much, much more. I went on a late Sunday morning, and found some fabric I needed. The register area is protected behind plastic film and you must wear a mask to get in. As I was entering, two people left with their purchases, so I was the only one in there except for the people working there. As I left, another person came in, so I felt pretty good about visiting in these times. The only negative for me is that it is located across the bay and I'll have to cross a bridge, but I will be visiting again!! It is located in a warehouse, so it might be easy to miss if you don't know it's there. I just wish I had remembered to take some photos.

This is a good store. I've been going here since it was on 9th st. The new spot Cesar Chavez, is a little disorganized and the little signage is barely noticeable. There is no help so they really need clear signage. Prices are moderate but much lower than Britex. They have some of the same fabrications, you have to hunt for them; but still worth the trip.

not at this time we discontinued it after the move killed all yarn sales. Sorry
Yes! We have a great range of silk options
The staff is knowledgeable in my experience. They may not be able to find the exact match but should be able to get you to the aisle based on the fabric type and you have to color / pattern match yourself.
Yes they do
Haven't seen it, better to call the store to confirm
This place has a huge selection of material, its worth stopping by.
I have no idea what this is. I have been a sewing teacher and sewn for 40 years and never heard of wax canvas. They have a oil cloth. My best recommendation is to give them a call and ask them.
Yes they do but you need to call them and they will tell you how they will do it. I do not know how but I know they do
