The rating refers to the service of Marin. Bought a bike 9 years ago and always had problems with the components (fork recalls, leaking brakes, etc.) now it can happen that you get a Monday model. I still enjoyed the bike. Then after 9 years what shouldn't happen happened. Broken frame!...Fortunately nothing happened. Well, on to the dealer and reported the case, he immediately opened a ticket. Marin doesn't manage to give a notice after 4 weeks whether it's a guarantee case or not. So good service is different. Too bad...

Love my Marin, looking for a new bike for my disabled daughter. Looks like they changed to trigger shifters instead of twisting. Are there any that still have these? She has a trigger one and can’t figure out which one to push, front or back and lands in the wrong gear. With the others it it forward or back so I think it would be easier so we can go out more without her wanting to quit after 5 miles.

Hi Wil - Our facility is an office, with a small shop for working on our sample and demo bikes. We are not set up as a retail location with replacement parts, so you'll need to bring your bike to a bike shop. Great that you're keeping that classic rolling. Cheers!

It looks to be a 2008 Stinson. While we don't have the 2008 price list available, it was probably around $500 when new.
HI Virginia - sorry, but we do not have vintage decal kits.
