We offer sessions Monday - Sunday, 8 AM - 8 PM. In other words--7 days a week during the day or evening! We can offer this because we have so many therapists at the Gay Therapy Center (27 and counting).

Great question. Our fees start at $185 per 50-minute session. Most of our clients receive reimbursement from their insurance companies at their insurer's "out of network" rate. The reimbursements range from 50% - 85% of the total cost of therapy.

Some clients need just a few sessions and some clients need months of support. Most clients need about 10 sessions. When we talk to you on the phone we can get a better idea of your needs and give you some more guidance about this. There's no charge for our 15-minute phone consultations.

We have been doing online therapy since we opened in 2015. Research, and our own experience, shows that it is equally as effective as therapy in our offices. And our clients love the convenience and extra privacy of online work.

We are out of network with all insurance companies. If your insurance company covers out of network care then you should be able to get some reimbursement for your sessions. The best question to ask your insurance company is: "What is your reimbursement rate for out-of-network procedure code 90834?"

Each session lasts 50 minutes. Some of our therapists like to do longer sessions with couples (60 or 75 minutes) but that is optional.
