Warm in the summer so make sure to have water. Excellent spot to stop and enjoy the views, but not too many places with shade for a group to eat lunch. Difficult for little ones to maneuver, but my 5, 8, 10 yr olds had fun scrambling on the rocks.

The Willow Lake Loop was absolutely Sensational. One of the best hikes I have been on. The trail is well marked and the views are spectacular. You move from views of the lake to desert to woods. Be sure that you have very sturdy shoes for the rock portion.

Great park for what you want to get out of it.... Walk/hike 5 miles around the lake.. Climb or hike up the rock formations. Fish in the lake. Kayak through the lake. Simply relax and grill in the ramadas. This spot has it all. Even an RV park onsite. Not to mention if you love taking pictures the rock formations are just amazing.....

Pretty lake with huge rock formations on one shoreline. Walked a bit on the Mile Hi Trail by those rocks. Many ramadas with picnic tables...no fires at this time. Wednesday is Free Day, good surprise.

noooooo you cant even wad
No but you can camp at Watson lake which is right next to Willow lake.
Honestly I wouldn't only because of how dirty it is. I've never seen anyone swim in it anyways.
There are few covered picnic tables along Jan Alfano Trail (closer to boat ramp).
