I'm living at Ferguson Place which is one of the rehabs Baker Places operates. I gave it 2 stars because the staff here say they want to help you, but when you ask for help, they don't! They come up with excuses not to help you. And the director has threatened to kick me out of the house 3 times. I don't feel safe living here because of that and because of the hypocrisy that goes on here. About 3 other clients living here feel the same way, so I know it’s not just me. The assistant director enjoys saying, "Let me know if you need help". I asked her to help me with an issue; she made 1 phone and told me the lady didn't call her back. She didn't take any more action to help me at all. One of the counselors here told me that he would help me find a place to live by giving me a list of housing opportunities here in San Francisco. He told me that 1 1/2 months ago and he still hasn't given me anything, and I've reminded him several times. My counselor is supposed to meet with me for 1 hour every week and he doesn't. He's always too busy to talk to me and he's been out sick for most of the last 30 days. This place isn't what they claim to be, so be careful if you're thinking about coming here and be prepared to do everything for yourself. And you’ll have to cook for yourself too and once every 2 weeks you’ll have to cook for the whole house. Almost all of the clients here have had to find their own housing and do everything on their own.
