Really like this place, with one exception. Clean rooms. Great views. Walk to canyon 1/2 mile. Limited to vending machines for food. Wireless worked good. My main suggestion is for them to go dark sky with lights. Come on folks, the lights on main building shone right on back cabins and took star gazing to terrible. Also use different shades on porch light. I would return if this addressed and give higher rating.

If you are going to the Grand Canyon, I highly recommend booking a night at the cabins. The rooms were rustic, spacious, clean and extremely adorable. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that offered a microwave and a small refrigerator. There was vending machines accessible 24/7. The views and overall feel of the area was priceless. Perfect for families! Affordable too!

We enjoyed our stay at the Cabins. The room was spotless and the cold AC was refreshing in the 105 degree F weather. The restaurant at Hualapai Point is the closest food to the Cabins, and they close at 4:30pm. We packed food and water for our road trip so that was not an issue. Shower was good, water heated up quickly. Bed was comfortable, we slept like babies. My most memorable part was sitting on the porch watching the sun rise over the grand canyon. Beautiful. And then we hiked the nearby trail "Home of the Warrior" which ended at a wonderful vista of the Colorado River. The trail was mostly flat and took about 50 mins one-way at a leisurely pace from the Cabins. Definitely recommend anyone to stay here. It's quiet, away from the crowds, and wonderfully close to the canyon.

This was our first visit to the Cabins at Grand Canyon West and it was wonderful! We were greeted warmly when we checked in and gave us tips for during our stay. The cabin was exactly what we needed. Clean, comfortable bed, and the A/C blew cold. There was no TV in the room which made it nice and we enjoyed sitting out front and taking in the view. Be sure to have a full tank of gas and even bring some snacks because food options close by 5pm. We were advised to go to Family Dollar for some snacks. It was 30 minutes away, but the drive was great! They had everything we needed and then some. The Cabins are a Stones away from the Grand Canyon West entrance. Highly recommend!

Best to make a reservation.
It should. Once you check in at the main entrance you catch a bus to all the sites and you can stay at any site for as long as you like and then hop on the bus and move to next site. The village is one of the sites. You can get different types of tickets that allow you access to either all or selected sites with the skywalk being extra
Not far but you can only move between the sites on a bus and they leave the main area on a regular basis
The Sky View Restaurant is open, but menu is different. There is also a small selection of food at Guano Point.
The cabin I stayed in has a small fridge & microwave. It's really nice.
Yes they can
It's American food here, forgot the price but I think it's around 17-23usd. The tour at grand canyon west goes through 3 stops. 1st stop - Hualapai - American food 2nd stop - Eagle point - Asian food 3rd stop - forgot the name but its the best view for the Grand Canyon among the three - Navajo (native American) Our tour guide highly recommends then 3rd stop. He said the Asian food is terrible and he's also Asian. The American food is well, you can get that everywhere else. Plus, the dining area for the third stop has a great view overlooking the grand canyon.
No cell service with T-Mobile. But they had WiFi.
