Overall I am VERY pleased with my experience with buying my Jeep. I did all my homework before going to the dealership in the way of looking at a Gladiator, get the financing I was wanting and I started the process online, with Rae following up with a phone call to answer all my questions. To say Rae bent over backwards to accommodate me with my questions and concerns is an understatement. I was VERY picky on what I was wanting, and what I was going to pay. I test drove a Gladiator, and was happy with it, but was not happy with the choice of colors they had at that time. When it came down to it, I chose to pass on the Gladiator, but Rae did sell me on a Rubicon Recon Unlimited. I love the Jeep I got. Through this whole process, which was my fault with being so picky, Rae's manager, Will also bent over backwards to what I was wanting. It was late in the evening and instead of freezing my outside cleaning out the Jeep I was trading in, they pulled both jeeps in the service department sally port, allowed me to clean out the old jeep and transfer all my belongings to the new jeep. The only concern I have is this. I came into this already doing my homework with my bank, capital one auto, and a couple other lenders. On Monday I pulled my credit report, and saw that I was shopped around by the dealership to 4 places, including the lender I had chose. I understand that they were trying to find the best rate, which I already did, but to have 4 marks on a credit report does still "Ding" you. Their answer to me is that they have up to 30 banks they can go to for loans, but they just went to 4. The communication was GREAT with Rae and Will, but the communication is lacking in the finance department. If you are going to do something that potentially is going to harm the livelihood of an individual, then you need to talk with them about making this decision before going off and just doing it. Is it really that hard to say "Hey, I think we can get you a better rate with X, Y or Z lender!" I would go buy another Jeep from Rae and HIGHLY recommend him if you are going to buy from this dealership. He did a GREAT job!!!

We just purchased a brand new Jeep Rubicon Unlimited in January 2022. We had placed a deposit in December for a Jeep we wanted that was “in transit“ This made me very nervous, as it was non-refundable. It all turned out great —Rae Ellis was a great sales person and along the journey and I was high maintenance I’m sure! checking on the status of when the vehicle was going to arrive and he was always forthcoming and returned emails and texts and phone calls in a timely manner I highly recommend Reed Jeep Kansas City 100%

We have a 2011 Grand Cherokee with the same problem. Probably just gonna buy new aftermarket ones.
