Yes.it is just as good or better than the web serches rate it. If you're in the Richmond area definitely visit. An extremely wide range of walking mg trails with lots of ares and activities to keep kids of all ages engaged. There's also a very nice greenhouse with butterfly garden off the back of it. It's not too expensive at $17 for an adult, but there multiple discounts. Finally there's a nice cafe and gift shop on the premises.

Today on our visit the gardens were pretty empty. There were quite a bit of things in bloom and it was a nice peaceful walk around the grounds. The grounds overall were extremely clean and well taken care of. The staff that we had interactions with were extremely nice and able to answer any questions we had. This was a really cool place to get to walk around and look at all the plants. All of the plants were labeled as well, incase you wanted to know what something was.

Visited mid April to the wonderful tulip blooms! Excellent orchid display, lots of room to take photos! Would love to visit again when the roses bloom. Great place to take young children to wander in the kids garden!

The bonsai exhibit is very cool. We went in late February so there’s not much to see other than the orchids in the greenhouse. The area is very clean and well-kept. The staffs are friendly and welcoming.

Most of the pathways are hardtop, and the majority of the park is wheelchair friendly. Hope this helps!
I don't think so..but they have on site outside eating facilities.

Lots of walking, but you go at your own pace. There are so many beautiful things to see, that you naturally take breaks along the way to take it all in. Yes,I'd bring stroller.
Hi, Kim. Yes, we welcome personal photos. However for portraiture, wedding photos or photos that will be used professionally, we do require a facility rental reservation and fee. You can learn more by looking at our website under photography and you can book by calling (804) 262-9887, x345 or x224.
I'm sorry, Carmen, We cannot take them at this time. They will only eat milkweed, so you best bet is to search for some in the wild. Most of the milkweed for sale in stores has been treated with chemicals and won't be any good. You may want to join our "Gardening in Virginia -- Question & Answer" Group on Facebook -- many folks in that group can point you in the direction of milkweed. Good luck!
As long as it's over 70°
Thats a good question. My recommendation is to call and ask them exactly what you just posted here. They worst they can do is say no, but I'd imagine they are gracious enough to work with you
Manthan is correct (thank you!) and here's the link to all admissions pricing: https://www.lewisginter.org/visit/hours-admissions/
