Fortman Marina is a great place to keep your boat. The staff is very attentive, the emanates are nice and clean, landscaping is top notch. They also have security at night to reduce unauthorized people on the docks at night. Also reduces car break ins. I feel very safe at that marina. The Alameda Yacht Club is located on site so you will always find some nice fallow sailors to chat with. I have recommended my friend to move their boats to Fortman because it's so nice, beautiful and safe

Fortman Marina is a wonderful place that I have enjoyed docking my boat at... Great weather, nice quiet area, safe and very clean facilities. Mark ,the harbor master and his crew are always available with a smile to help me with any questions or needs I may have. They are courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Fortman to my friends or any one who wants a recommendation on where to dock their boat.

Mark as always been fair and accommodating when it has come to dealing with reasonable renters. Case in point: As the former Commodore of Alameda Yacht Club, we were required by the State of California to close our cub. Mark was more than accommodating in reducing our monthly rent to something that we could afford until we were able to reopen. Now if that isn't a good harbor master, I don't know what one is. P.S. We've have had our boat at Fortman Marina for over 17 years and have always been happy there.

I have had a slip at Fortman Marina for some 20 years. Affordable, clean, well kept. Harbormaster Mark has always been fair and reasonable. Don’t expect him to do everything you want because he has rules, regulations, a boss, a community, etc to answer to. In my experience simple or practical requests asked with basic consideration are granted if possible by both Mark and staff.
