I had a reading today. I paid $60 for a 30 minute reading. It ended at 20 minutes … checked the time when done. I am beyond disgusted and very dismayed with the reading. I feel like I was taken advantage of after this place was recommended. The reader was completely guessed. It was not a cold reading but rather a reader guessing. He continued to ask questions. That is NOT a reading … that is a guessing game with leading questions. He had to consult his phone!!! He told me my age … WRONG and not even close. He told me my sign. Again, not even close. Also told me that a boyfriend is cheating on me, I should not trust him, that he has multiple girlfriends and will eventually leave me. Disgusting and TOTALLY UNETHICAL! Of course this was after asking me if I had a boyfriend. The funniest part of it all? I am a medium who does readings on a regular basis for others. Just thought it would be fun to be the sitter instead of the reader. Totally F’d out of $60 for a scam reading. I’d laugh if I wasn’t so mad about the money wasted. Totally screwed over.

Terrible customer service. There was a lady who was so rude to PAYING CUSTOMERS. I would never return to this shop. You can find the same stuff at other places with better employees. Overall, the cashier lady was extremely rude. She screamed at me saying “NO PHOTOS!!!!!”, when I wasn’t even taking a picture. She acted like a child, take your business elsewhere and don’t waste your time here. Got a terrible vibe from the cashier lady.

This is one of the most unique, and creepy, stores I have ever been in. The people working here were very nice and friendly though, driving home the lesson of not judging books by covers. We picked up an authentic voodoo doll here to take back to New York for our daughter. She was so happy with her souvenir of New Orleans! This was a very interesting place to visit. Be a good tourist though and explore with care, kindness and respect. Even if you don't agree with it, this is a very serious religion to some people. Don't touch the alter!

I stopped through here very briefly. I thought it looked cool and immediately started taking photos unaware that they didn't want photos taken here. Soon as I realized I stopped. I didn't experience any rude staff as reported by others. I didn't touch anything. I saw that there was an area in the back where you can get a reading. My group was in a rush to leave and there was a line so I left.
