Plan on spending a hour here, even for the easiest of requests. Everyone moves at a glacial pace and takes a 3 hour break.

Although this post office's hours are listed on USPS as 8:30 to 4:30, this is not the time that counter service is actually available at this post office. Today postal workers arrived at 8:39 am. I waited until 8:50 for the window to open, but it had not opened. I am not sure when workers opened the window. I had to leave for work.

this office is CLOSED permanentely. I was there today and just noticed it has FOR LEASE signs on the doors. Where is the nearest post office now ??

Terrible terrible service. I sat on hold for an hour--60 minutes of my day--waiting to ask someone one simple question. The only reason I need to ask this question is because the terrible post office delivered my package to the university branch before the university branch opened in the morning, so they took my package back to this location and now I'll be amazed if the miracle of me getting it back occurs. I paid for Amazon prime to get my packages in 2 days and now it has been a whopping 11 days of frustration and being put on hold. This is not right. This is lousy and improper. Please reform the New Orleans postal services. You need a revolution.
