We went to go see The Lion King. It was amazing! I took my 2 girls and they loved it! Amazing performance. During intermission, they have aids in the restroom to move everyone through as quickly as possible. Great service from staff and amazing performance from the actors. Really impressed.

Went to see Dear Evan Hansen here on 6/19! It was an amazing experience and the theatre was gorgeous. I will say, since the rows of seats have no middle aisle through them, you kind of have to climb over the other people who are sitting in between you and your seat. However, it was just a minor difficulty and it doesn't take away from the beauty of the theatre.

It's a great venue for a show. I could see the act perfectly: facial gestures, body language & expressions. Felt the audience were a little crammed together which I didn't like. Heard beforehand that the sound or sound system was bad. It seemed fine to me. I could hear everything perfectly.

We saw Hamilton here. It was a nice venue. We sat in the upper level which was fine with me. The seating is just really long rows and they were only admiring from one side. I would definitely advise getting there when the doors open for your show so you can get seated. Great place to watch a show

Is there a service charge when you go to ticket sales
There's some street parking that's free on Sunday near the theater. Otherwise you'll need to park in the neighborhood west of the theater if you want free parking.
Broadway San Jose at the SAP center not only has the bars open for drinks and snacks they also set up an outdoor area with food and drink. Only drinks purchased on site are allowed in the theater. All snacks must be consumed before entering.
Sorry I can't answer your question as we parked over at Scott's Seafood and walked over to SJPA.
It might not have been found yet, hence not turned in yet.

I believe the nearest available public parking is across the street on Almaden Blvd.
Thats what we did for CY
Plan on the mask and the card. No entrance otherwise
Also there is a parking in Hilton hotel with a minimum parking charge
No. I just took photos of vaccination on my phone a d they were satisfied with it. My 10 year old needed negative test... I took a screenshot of that as well.
No you cannot take a sports bag into the theatre.
Yes
You got them a disabled seat or when you got to the venue it might be possible to trade the seats out for disabled seats. Even if he's not in a wheelchair, if he is disabled then he can have a disabled section seat
Under normal circumstances the answer is no. If you need to swap for a disabled seat then yes.
I’m confused, if I have proof of vaccination & wear a mask- Do I still need to show proof of a negative Covid Test for an upcoming show I am attending?
There are a couple of handicapped spots on W San Carlos next to the theater, a few across San Carlos on S. Almaden Blvd. Otherwise, there are in the parking garages nearby.
It depends how you bought your tickets. Check to see if they state will call. If so, there are will call windows outside the main entrance.
Best call the center. The power outages have been changing all night
Download the Ticketmaster app to your phone and log in. Under Account is My Events - you can either download the QR codes to your phone or just show from the app itself at the door
I have seen everything from tshirts and shorts to formal attire. I usually dress comfy casual ..ooo and in a layer as it does get warm inside for sure. But I can safely say everyone feels welcome there and I have been seeing shows here for many years! Except naked I don't think they would let you in naked lol 😜
If you have the Sat 2pm show, no you will not make it. The run time is 2hrs 45mins. If you have the 1pm Sun show, then yes.
Yes you can
There is no lot for the CPA, but there are public lots nearby as well as street parking.
Nice. Warm enough to walk to your car a couple blocks or more...
We like to dress nicely.....most people have dresses or slacks, collared shirts, some ties and jackets....but you see everything from jeans to formal attire!
There was no parking lot attached to the theatre but there was actually a parking lot across the street. Not so bad.
We ate at Scott's Seafood and had a very enjoyable dinner. Best part is we parked in the parking structure for Scott's and walked to the SJPA building. Very easy walk!
Performances are usually 1.5-2 hours with intermission. Depends on the show.
