My reviews keep getting deleted but because of this places negligence my children’s father has had a major set back. When he arrived at their facility they were not prepared for him. They took 2 hours to contact us staying they did t have any orders for his medications. He is on three different seizure medications and they had non on board for him. Because of the lack of communication and someone’s laziness to make sure what he needed was at their facility is caused him to have 2 seizures within the first 12 hours he was at their facility as well as another one the 2 nd day he was admitted. We trusted you with our loved one and he had declined tremendously. His quality of life has changed and it’s not fair someone will and is gonna be held accountable for this mistake.

I was extremely happy at first when they started construction on the San Leandro location since I live right down the street and I was a previously forced to commute out to Union City to go to PT, see my primary doctor, and so on. After the San Leandro facility opened has been a non stop let down. Wait times for Rx were ridiculous for the 4x I went there and 2x telling me after I checked in and waited for an hour that they don't have the Rx in stock. You couldn't tell me that in the beginning. I was assigned a new doctor who I really liked only to be told my next visit that she no longer worked there. Telling me I need to go to Hayward or back to Union City because they don't have the service offered. Example: They have PT but they only do evaluations then send you to Union City because I'm told "San Leandro will NEVER have a fully staffed, or equip office for physical therapy". Make an appointment after a bike accident instead of go to ER and they tell me I have to go to urgent care in Hayward. So instead of it taking me 1 min to drive down to my appointments I have to drive 20-45 mins depending on traffic and that's one direction. Whats the point of opening up a new Hospital if your not going to offer the services of every other Hospital. Make your patients go from one facility to the next. I heard a commercial on the radio this morning of Kaiser bashing other Hospitals for making people drive all over just to get service. What a joke. The one good thing I can say is when I have an appointment I have not had to wait long to see a doctor, or get x-rays. This is the only reason I gave San Leandro a second star. Get your act together Kaiser. One location all services, all appointments. Very dissatisfied

Excellent facility. The patients are well looked after and they have a lovely courtyard for the mobile ones to go to as they are able. Visitors are welcome at any time and treated with smiles. The nurses are attentive and compassionate. I am very glad to be a Kaiser member for I have seen long-term care facilities that are quite depressing. This place get a great rating from me.

My mother (80) stayed here after having a complete knee replacement. She had to do PT and build up to the point of standing on her own again. She liked the place and got along great with the staff. There was a nice garden patio area that was warm and not windy, so patients could sit outside in the fresh air in their wheel chairs and visit with guests. The location is convient distance from the 580 freeway and nestled in a residential area which is quiet. No complaints.
