I dropped off an old wicker TV cabinet for an elderly lady. I thought it weighed maybe 50 lbs at most ( I'm 72 and could carry it with one hand with it resting on my shoulder) , whenI was weighed in and out they called it 80 lbs and charged $12 . No wonder people are dumping illegally.

Clean for a recycling center. I’ve experienced two people who work the counter there. A young man who has a great smile and answers questions without acting annoyed like most young people I’ve experienced, so Thank You for that! Then there is a nice lady who is always working hard and friendly as well. In this day and age it’s refreshingto see some people are still human!

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is a joke. The staff is beyond rude and lazy. Never helpful. The containers are always full and we then always have to pay to dump what we brought to recycle.????? Makes no sense. Wish they would do their jobs as I am here to do mine. What a waste of time and energy this place is. Word of advice, just pay to throw everything into the landfill cause these guys provide no service and would just assume you toss it in the landfill as well. 👎

Bought a truck that had a lot of junk in the back, and while waiting in line to dump, the truck (diesel), ran out of fuel. They went above and beyond to tow me out to a clear spot, put fuel in the truck, give me a jump start (my batteries were shot), and make sure we got back in line and dumped. Fantastic service!!

Deschutes Recycling takes them for a fee. They need to be dropped off.
You can take it to the Negus transfer Station and drop it in the appliance bin.
Where can I get paid for my plastic water bottles
I believe so
Yes with electronics
I think it's 4 or 8,been awhile. 4 dollars seems right though
e
Yes
You sure can. Same price. 4 dollars a cubic yard
Wood that hast not been treated with paint , stains or preservatives is ok. Calk them for more info.
About $4
They take a variety but not clamshells. They tell you all about what can go into your mixed recycling cart on their website. That is the same stuff they take out at the lanfill. Call them for more info.
On specified hazmat days, you can take gasoline or other liquids and all manner of other hazardous materials to be recycled. You can ask for your contaner back or you can leave it. It us better if you can offer your gas to someone who can use it in a lawnmower or other way.
They take paper products that are not plasticized. So most books would qualify. Call them for details. Goodwill takes books. Deschutes recycling is located at the landfill.
