Have called the South Boston branch 5 different times now to speak to someone from the Auto Investigation unit and no one calls back. No accountability or pride in their work.

There was an incident where an individual was brought to the hospital for no apparent reason. I perceive that the officers were frustrated that they couldn't bring him to a cell, so they wanted to waste this person's time and bring them to the hospital. They were drugged and had to spend almost a week in a mental facility for no reason at all.

First off, I want to say the the Boston Police is great in general but this department has many problems. The officers perceive that they are above the law and invade your space and don't evaluate the situation that they are brought upon. The officers try to scare you and bring up false claims. There was an incident from someone I knew, where a absurd amount of resources were used just because he didn't want to talk to law enforcement. Everyone has the right to remain silent, and the officers understand this, but take extreme measures to make you talk. He was captured and put into the hospital for not talking. He was not suicidal, didn't want to hurt anyone, and was not in violation of any laws. The officers continue to lie that he was resisting arrest and trying to attack them. In reality, he understood that the officers and not understanding of his situation and was almost crushed by heavy furniture.
