Slightly challenging trail with view at the top. Remnants of old village can be seen along the way.

Wonderful hike volunteers maintained trails 1000 feet above sea level

Very beautiful trail. However not a trail for a beginner. That’s the only reason I rate it 4 stars. But it is beautiful. I’m glad I went with friends and together we got through it because the marks could get confusing at times making it easy to get lost.

This place is great for hiking. Part of it is very uphill and if your not used to hiking like that, it can take alot out of you. Also part of the trail is closed so its alittle easy to get lost but you can find your way back with the marked trees. It's not a paved path either. It's a human made foot path.

I have not seen any.. I would venture to say it's always a possibility when entering the woods. I felt perfectly safe going solo.
