Eric at Thomas’ Sewing Machines has worked wonders for all my machines. I have modern computerized machines that he’s cleaned and tuned up, but what’s really amazing is his knowledge and skill with vintage and antique machines. He brought my Singer 501 Slantomatic back to life after no other service person had been able to adjust it properly since the late 1970s! He also has refurbished my Singer 66 and New Home treadle, and I’ve taken many of my friends’ machines to him too, since he’s a long drive from NYC. Eric is friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. I’ve never had to wait more than a few hours for a response, and more often than not he answers immediately, and his work has always been timely. His prices are very fair and he is generous with his time and expertise. True repair artists with the kind of encyclopedic knowledge and experience such as Eric’s are a rare and precious find. My sewing enjoyment would certainly be a lot less without knowing I have someone I trust to keep my fleet running. I’d give more stars if I could!

My new to me 301 was serviced in a reasonable amount of time. Communication was very good. Thomas spent additional time with me showing me where to oil. I'm very happy with my machine.

Thomas repaired my White machine that I was just about ready to throw away. Quick, great service, and amazing price. He also repaired my old Singer featherweight that I gave my daughter. Very talented and knowledgeable.
