Love this (mostly) off-leash dog park! There's a lot of space for dogs to run around, great views on sunny days, and always friendly people. The access to the river is very nice as well. Even on busy days you can find some quiet on less trafficked trails, so there's something for everyone.

Sad , but true! Unfortunately this park has become a hot spot for car Break-ins. I once Visited 3-4 times a week, until my window was bashed out for a makeup bag . Tax payer !

Can't get over how great this area is. My dog and I had such a great time. We loved it all. It's just a great and easy little hike to get to do many different trails. Bring water, and don't forget to practice the leave no trace. Not to mention all the caches. ;)

I love this place so much! It's so beautiful with expansive outdoor and river places for humans and animals... especially horses and dogs. Even last year, dog poo was a huge problem, but not now! Yay for the cleanup and everyone participating in a clean space! The water is super low this year. We had a little concern about aggressive dogs, but all the peeps were super kind!

Yes, it's open! Prepare to pay for parking now, and guardrails along the road outside will make it more crowded in the lot.
Year round, but trail can flood with days of heavy rain
Not right now but there is a proposal for a fee in the near future
Yes. Google maps has I-84 closed starting west of Sandy River Delta
As of today no... but people are parking outside of gate and walking in
No
Nope. It's usually very busy. I would be very surprised if to hear of any in this park.
No it is not safe to shoot there
No it's too cold for most reptiles in this part of oregon..... But we do have little garter snakes... And some small lizards.
Yes the Forest pass is good I believe....
They do not close at 5. We got there at 5 today and the parking lot was full. It's not clear at all about how to pay for parking, so look for the QR code on the kiosk by the restroom. There a bees nest in the kiosk so be careful! Not sure how people pay for parking if they don't have a smart phone or forget their phone. I guess you're just out of luck. It's too bad and kind of a pain that you have to pay for parking now.
