The website says the SRD closes at 5pm is that the parking lot or the entire park? We want to come out for an evening walk and swim with our pup but not if it closes???

They do not close at 5. We got there at 5 today and the parking lot was full. It's not clear at all about how to pay for parking, so look for the QR code on the kiosk by the restroom. There a bees nest in the kiosk so be careful! Not sure how people pay for parking if they don't have a smart phone or forget their phone. I guess you're just out of luck. It's too bad and kind of a pain that you have to pay for parking now.

They close an hour after Sunset. Never had a problem getting out because the out bound has no gate, instead they have those tire poppers that stick out.

I believe the homeless/drug camps are there 24/7, so it shouldn't be a problem if you come out after 5pm.

So we haven't had any issues with getting in or out after 5pm. As the days shorten I can't speak on it, but so far during summer we have been free and clear.
