What a great experience to see humpback whales in their natural habitat. The vessel was well kept , the crew was knowledgeable and very friendly. I'm glad I was able to see whales up close and have such an enthusiastic guide to educate us every step of the way. Spoon was fascinating to watch and was a very special whale.

This was an amazing experience! We saw two whales. We didn’t see much of them as they were not the type to hang out at the surface. But, we still saw whales. On the way back we got to see a pod of dolphins which was awesome! Got a lot of great pictures and my whole family enjoyed everything about the trip. The crew said the trip wasn’t up to their standards and gave everyone vouchers for another trip! We were able to reserve a spot for our last day in town and went again. The next time we got a show we couldn’t believe. 7 humpback whales surfacing all around. Really amazing! This company went above and beyond their sighting guarantee. Free parking right at the dock and friendly and helpful staff. The boat wasn’t crowded and you could move around easily to check out all the viewing areas. The cruise out on the ocean alone is worth it. Everything else is a bonus. Highly recommend this company!!

We took all 4 of our kids (ages 1 month through 9 years) to see whales with Cape Ann. We all had a fantastic time. The crew was amazing with the kids. One of us stayed in the cabin with the baby while the other parent took the bigger kids on the upper deck. There were whale sightings from the moment we arrived at the feeding grounds to the moment we left. The views were great(even from inside the cabin) and the whale facts were interesting and informative for my kids. The boat was to capacity but that didn't hinder our viewing experience. It was a beautiful day and as a parent I really appreciated the speed of this ship vs others. We spent less time getting to the grounds and more time watching the whales. It was all around a great time and I highly recommend using Cape Ann for your experience whale watching!

Amazing experience! The crew was excellent, knowledgeable and eager to share information. We were lucky to see a huge number of whales, including two calves! The captain went out of his way and traveled even further than normal to make the most of the whales we saw (the crew estimated there were probably at least 50 whales in the area)

Wonderful. The staff will interact with them in a fun and educational way. Just bring hats and sun block and they will have a fun time.
You've to go to their website and book the date n time you want available there! At the time of purchase just add your respective Groupon voucher code. In case you don't see the option of entering Groupon code, that means your voucher doesn't work on that particular date n time. Try again on some other date. P.S. we could only get a booking that our voucher applied on for only the weekday morning tours. Good luck 👍🏻
If the weather is bad enough they may cancel. https://www.seethewhales.com/index.php?link=boston-whale-watch-schedule
It took 6 hours for us. Actually they are committed to go as far as they spot the whales. Our steamer took 2 and half hours to reach the spot and spend around 1 hour there and it was a rare experience to see whales. We returned fully satisfied.
Inside the parking area of cape Ann , I hope u can park ur Rv at the corner/ edge of it and also if u come earlier it will be easy to find the parking spot.
I didn't have to wear a mask. If passengers not wearing a mask bother you then I suggest you don't go.
Parking is free. Plenty of spaces available for the 1:30 trip.
Yes they are.
Im my case we saw some whales, but they only show the back and the cue...no dolphins at all, but I recomend it once at least in life

The parking lot is small and fills up fast. The cars are directed side by side. I would call first before attempting to arrive with an RV.
The entrance will lead you steep down from the road right to the parking lot. On a holiday, you usually find someone assisting you at the entrance and assist you to park in an empty spot.
Contact them directly for any specials.
Anywhere within 20 min or so drive would be ok. We live here so dont know the hotels around.
If you are looking for prices go to grupon they often have deals on the tickets
Cafeteria food. Mostly microwaved. Burger was good. Nachos were good. Prices were not bad.
There is a childrens ticket option. Check their website for the price
I took my 2 year old. No need to wear a life vest. It's a big boat.
Yes and use Groupon to save money. Just remember Groupon expires at end of season. Use it or lose it. When we went we followed a school of dolphins. It was awesome watching the babies follow mom. So cute. We saw a couple of whales also, but not that close to us. You could only see the parts of them above the water.
Yes. The original tickets will be given at the deck. We showed the confirmation from email and they gave us printed tickets.
Go on their fb page, they post what they see all the time.
Yes they leave on time. Both the morning and afternoon trip
I think so its a great whale watching better than new England aquarium
