Kinda expensive. $37 for me and my buddy for one night. I feel like you shouldn't have to pay an additional vehicle fee unless you have three or more vehicles. 37 is kinda ridiculous for two people and two vehicles for less than 24 hours. Anyway, its pretty. We had to leave early on Sunday though. There was at least 100 people doing a church service singing loudly with microphones and speakers right behind our campsite on the river. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because it's very pretty and right on the river.

Simply needed a comfort stop on a discovery drive to Astoria. Five bucks is a steep price for s mandatory State Park day use permit when a visit to the restroom was the only requirement. Looks like a nice place for a summer camp out though.

We are the new volunteer camp hosts and are here to help your experience to be great. We have been here volunteering for about 6 weeks. We love meeting new people and seeing all of their furry friends. I have been coming to this campground since I was a kid. Been spending many many hours cleaning up the park so you have a nice and comfortable place to spend time and gain good memories like I have. Look forward to seeing and meeting our campers. Hope you all enjoy and gain great memories. P.S. to the person that posted on this review page about fishing and the host was hogging the best spot. Yes we fished for the first time here that day and fished for about an hour. Sorry that it incovienced you. Was not our intentions.

DO NOT book site 007! 1. It is noted as a 28 feet long pad (30 max vehicle) and suitable for 2 vehicles and 8 people. Our Jayco 15BH (17 total feet) trailer barely fit by itself; so no room for the tow vehicle and no suitable room OR privacy for a tent. 2. The day use parking (contrary to the reservation map) completely surrounds 3/4 of the site (the other 1/4 being the roadway). Which means you now have random people parking around and in (note the tire tracks) and walking through your campsite as they access the "boat ramp" to the river. The site is completely exposed making it unsafe for children and possessions.

I concur with what Jill said. Some of the turns are tight
Yes, 5$ a bundle. No fire restrictions as of yet this summer.
Yes. Mostly native trout. Probably some blue gills and sorts too. Crawdads are in season right now also.
ReserveAmerica has reservations available. Other than holiday weekends, its generally not hard to find a site. Can reserve 1 yr out
Yes, roads in the local area are open.
$ 28 for water and power. $31 for full kook ups.
State park passes can be purchased through the website and there are Veteran discounts available.
It is open now camping by reservation only and filling fast
I was only a visitor but u can look them up on google and then call
This is a short-term campground. Campers are welcome to stay for 7 days.
Yes you can
I dont think they lock the front gates ever? they didn't April 2019
We did buy thetr were alot of sites open
30 a night for site with water and electricity
Probably but it's better to call the Forrest service and ask them to be sure
If you are a registered camper you are able to park in the lot or campground somewhere for the duration of your stay, I hope you have a great time
They have large camping sites. My dog loves to camp there. Fire pits and water at each tent site. Make reservations online or they will charge you 5 dollars for each night you stay. They just started that last month. I camp there often so if you dont have a record of it you should keep better records
Was just up there for 2 days. New rules and fees. 30 dollars full hook up 27 tent sites. Starting the day we got there 5 dollar service fee per day if you dont make reservations online. 5 dollar reservation fee online for the entire time you book not per day. They only let you pay one day at a time if you dont book online and the second day we were there they made us move sites because someone booked our site online. Not a happy camper. Bathrooms were filthy too.
