Great campground, friendliest host (caught our Dotson exploring and politely shooed him back to out camp) and Lenny (pretty sure that's his name) kept it clean. Small kids area that will be expanding. Good river access but it is cold and swift please use caution!

The female host we met was kind, patient and lovely....

This was our second campground during our PCH road trip, and we did tent camping in the C section. This campground was so beautiful and serene, and the campsite was very spacious and private. The other side of the grounds (I think A section) were not so private, so I am glad we didn't reserve that area. This campground is my favorite of the three we stayed in. We camped during the week leading up to Memorial Day weekend, but there was practically nobody there. I hardly even realized there were other people there because all I heard was the sound of the river, trees, rain, and wildlife. We loved that we were right next to the river and the view we had in the morning was straight out of a magazine. We didn't have any cell service about halfway into the mountains, but it was a nice break from the phones. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is it. We had a tight schedule and only stayed one night, but we wish we could have had more time here. We will be back!

Great family friendly camping. We got a spot 20 feet from the river. We caught our limit of craw dads, found tons of salamanders, multiple areas of easy current to swim in. Large open area for the kids to ride there bikes. During covid, most of the other sites are closed off so you really get a feeling of solitude from the other campers. Caught some great pictures of the moon

We were tent camping in site "C". About $40 the first night, $25-$30 every night after was the rates we experienced. I'm sure it varies.
They have fire pits you can build fires in and cook on.
Not sure, but as of yesterday it still looked like it
Exactly zero cell service
Not every one is open.. certainly enough for the reduced amount of visitors.. Kept very clean
Not that I can recall. You can get biodegradable soap and a shower pack you just add some water to use, the sun heats it up. About $10, great alternative!
I believe it depends on the site you go with, some have them. More in site "A" I'd say. They also have some potable water spots.
It's $54 per site + $11 for transaction fee if you pay online and $8 for extra cars. We've camped here multiple times we always stay 2 nights and get 2 sites and we end up paying $130
I went with three 5 and under and two teens and we were fine. There were lots of other kids too.
There are certain areas that are not very safe if you get in do not get in around the rocks and the big current make sure you get in at a place that's safe all of the water there is glacial runoff
It's not cheep comparatively speaking. Somewhere between $25/$35 a night last time there.
No.
