Nice museum! Lots of various planes and military vehicles. Be sure to start with the short video on the making of the blimp hanger. Like the small section on the mt hebo station, never knew it existed. My son, who is 9, definitely loved getting into the flight simulators and the WW2 models.

I thought this was really a neat museum. They had so much to see and so much thought has gone into the exhibits! Right now, Top Gun Maverick is huge at the box office and it was so awesome to see an actual F-14 that was used in the first movie! Definitely well worth your time to visit!! The building itself is gigantic and it's amazing to think of it housing the blimps in its prime!

It was great to get a real perspective of the size of these planes. Also great to see other displayes and models that educated you on their history and the history of the area. Maps of battles too. Didn't post all the pictures. Gotta leave some mystery for everyone to go see for themselves.

The museum itself has a lot of nice features - you can walk through the fuselage of an old TWA plane, there's a really nice Holocaust memorial, and there are flight simulator machines on display along with old fire engines and the like. The large hangar gives you a feel for how large the blimps that were previously stored in there are. But the museum also needs a little help and upgrades - the roof leaked somewhat and the lighting was a little dim. I would definitely recommend a visit however.

Not at Tillamook, its at the aviation museum in mcminnville Oregon.
10am - 4pm Closed Mondays & dress warm building isn't heated and it gets quite cold in the hangar.
Yes parking on both sides of the street for the tillamook air museum.
There are all kinds of displays inside that show the history of why it's there. Pretty fascinating.
Old migs, planes donated from people who built their own. You can read some of the history of the facility I believe on their website~ there are some cockpits from certain planes you can actually sit in!
5$ to 10$ fee depending on age and military/senior/infant-toddler discounts.
There was no sawmill in the hangar over the past summer of 2018.
