Dennis Hill State Park is a public recreation area located in the town of Norfolk, Connecticut, that was once the estate of Dr. Frederick Shepard Dennis. The state park offers hiking, picnicking, and scenic views.

The pavilion area at Dennis Hill is breathtaking. You can see the tallest points in three different states while standing atop the hill. The Yellow trail is a good intermediate hike, but watch out for the tree roots along the trail. The gazebo overlook area along the Yellow trail offers another gorgeous view. I'm definitely coming back to hike this again when the leaves begin to change.

Love this place. Steeped in history and you can see the mountains from VT, MA, and NY. There's an awesome trail that takes u to the top in a nice relaxing setting. You can start a bonfire, relax in the pavilion, and take pictures of the beautiful flowers around you
