Camped here over the fourth of July weekend. There's a reason this place is sold out all season. It's within walking distance to the far end of Hampton beach, which tends to be way less crowded than the strip. The sites are simple and easy to back into. Hook ups were well maintained and in working order. The camp store and bathrooms are a bit of a walk though. Fire pits do the job. Possible drawbacks are no alcohol outside of the camper and no dogs allowed.

I love Hampton Beach State Park for the jetty, the beach and various wildlife you can see there. Shorebirds, ducks and sometimes other special creatures. Great place for families and children.
