The best place to rent skis at hunter mountain. Make a reservation several days before and get there early to avoid lines. Staff is great.

I got a skis checking service there back in Thanksgiving, which cost me 30ish dollars. Though it's a pricey service but I thought it's gonna worth it. However, I heard the guy tell the front desk that there is nothing need to be done for the skis since it's already adjusted. I then thought 'ok, that's fine, at least it's all good.' But the truth is that now I am skiing in VT, and I found the nuts is not even tighten on one side. So I tighten them by myself. I gotta say that base on the ratings, this store may be worth for your spending, but keep in mind the case like mine could happen.

Great experience getting a new pair of boots with these folks. Demonstrated a lot of knowledge of their products and walked me through all of the details. I especially appreciated Gio's approach of giving me a range of options to narrow down the brand and style that suited me best. I had an unexpected hotspot when I went on the slopes the next day - they managed to squeeze me into a busy schedule and get me fixed up on the spot -- no charge. Definitely recommend coming here for your next set of boots.

Litterally 2 min from Hunter Mountain. Rent your skiis/boards or buy your gear here before hitting the mountain. Nicely appointed rental shop in the basement and a shop with great selection of gear.
