Incredible place to stay or if not stay, please eat here! We were able to enjoy some of the best pasta I've ever had for dinner, an insanely good pop-up menu another night, and a wildly good breakfast. The quality of ingredients is *chefs kiss*. Also, amazing cocktails, natural wine and great beer. Shout out to Greg working behind the bar! As for the stay, we stayed in one of the smaller queen sized rooms without a view and wasn't lacking in any way. They have a cozy little gas fireplace, windows that open, and a fold out table! The staff were all amazing, personable, and kind. Also, can't beat the location if you're doing anything on Hunter Mountain. Would love to come back in the summer and take advantage of the pool!

We had a wonderful stay at Scribners. First, the staff was warm, attentive and never seemed rushed. We brought our dog and were so pleased to find a Pupstater gift for him in the room that included treats, and a toy. There was also a cute note addressed to us. Off of the lobby is a charming guest lounge with pool, fireplaces and LOADS of old books. Great wifi access throughout the place as well. My only critism is that the furniture wasn't super comfy in the King Loft room. The bed was great but I would have preferred a more traditional couch downstairs. One last comment: the soaps smelled SOOOOO GOOD that we bought a bottle to take home. We loved our laid back get away! Thanks so much!!

Awesome stay! 5 min drive away from Hunter Mountain. The service staff was accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and well designed with its upstate vibe. I would recommend coming here for your next trip to Catskills. The main lounge is well decorated and has a cozy charm. It’s decked out with bookshelves, desks, an indoor fireplace, comfy seats, and a billiards table. The outdoor dry sauna is a bit small and not as hot as I would preferred. It could use some work. The outdoor fireplaces are great for smores and meeting the other guests. We went when it was freezing outside, so not many people were out. Nonetheless, great vibes.

Amazing! The food at the restaurant was expensive, but worth every penny. The staff were so warm and had amazing customer service…like literally every single person. The rooms were wonderful and cozy and all the extra touches like outdoor fire pits with s’mores kits, water station with glass bottles and so much more. Will absolutely be back, it was a fantastic trip and a wonderful stay.

Your best bet is to call them as this is most likely subjective to room availability prior to your check in.

Definitely depends on the time of year you better book in advance if it's going to be during ski season or mountain jam.
