I hiked the loop trail of angel’s rest and devil’s rest. Most of the photos were taken right below devil’s trail. It was beautiful day with some chilly air.

Great hike. Be prepared to be walking uphill for a bit, but the views of the gorge throughout make it completely worth it. I brought around ~ 40 oz of water and could of brought a bit more. Do it!

What an absolutely spectacular view! The hike is challenging at times but not overly so, and you have an incredible payoff at the end.

A great hike! The last third of the hike has little tree cover, so bring more water than you think. There are tons of great photo spots all the way up. Some parts are narrow with loose rock, so make sure you are cautious and can balance, and aren't afraid of heights.

Even if it wasn't required, a couple of reasons you wouldn't want your dog off leash are cougars, and a cliff. I don't know your dog but if it likes chasing after chipmunks, it could potentially run after one over the clff's edge and drop a thousand feet.
