We happened upon this post office to mail some post cards and the clerk was the sweetest!!! She gave us a nickel when we were short one, and gave us recommendations for the area as far as sightseeing was concerned. They had apparently just gotten out of a power outage but we never would have known!

Cutest little historic post office with the kindest and most knowledgeable staff! The worker knew about the history of the building, and how to resolve my postal needs for mailing off my wedding invitations. The hours are quite limited and have been updated recently since reopening, but it's understandable considering how small the office is. There is a little lending library outside too.

ABSOLUTELY the most helpful Post Office you will EVER encounter. They have my vote for National Treasure status. I just mailed 60th wedding anniversary invitations. They have shortened hours, and I arrived about 20 minutes before closing. Invitations starting arriving to our guests the very next day, so I know they got started on hand cancelling the stamps immediately. I'd consider making the 3 hour round trip from my home every time I need stamps, because stamps sales are what keeps this wonderful little gem going.

Wonderful place to go for any post office needs as the staff member was the best! Of course, most people only go out there to send their wedding invitations out (which we did) and it's a fun little experience for that too.

I'm looking for this information too! I am just about ready to send off my wedding invites and was so looking forward to going to the Bridal Veil post office to purchase my stamps and send them out there. It was noted somewhere that everything is being directed to the Corbett Postal office, and that Corbett will use the post mark for Bridal Veil, but the number listed either is a fax # or is not a good #. I also called USPS 1-800# waited on hold for over an hour and spoke to a customer service person who was unable to find anything on the damage at Bridal Veil and no other phone # for the Corbett location. I would really like to find out the details before a make a long wasted trip. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
No, this post office was not damaged by eagle creek fire. It is currently closed due to road closures. We hope to have our post office back to our local community.
