Great spot for ramen, don't miss the eggplant starter. Ramens were tasty and very rich, tan tan ramen was awesome.

Food was yummy. Service was friendly. The place is off the Hells Kitchen beaten path. It’s a small little place with great rice bowl and noodle. If you’re in the mood for noodles or basic Japanese cuisine then check this place out! I recommend this place!!

Used to think this was one of the best ramen in NYC, not so sure now. I ordered the kuro (black garlic) ramen, which is a staple and favorite of mine. I’m not sure if covid/staffing issues have affected the quality, but i have noticed a discernible drop from just a few months to a year ago, when i last visited. The pork broth seems a little bland, and this definitely wasnt helped by the fact that they heaped on way too much garlic oil for my liking. It completely overpowered the soup, and made everything extremely oily. Its possible that my personal preferences have changed too. Sad to realize this as i truly love hide-chan and as mentioned before it was one of my faves. Hope they can make things better soon!

Ramen is soooo good. A must if you’re on this side of town. When we went there is a small group of Japanese salary-men having a Friday night drink. Having locals in an international restaurant is the true seal of approval IMO.

There out door dining set up is three tables under a tent and 3-4 weather exposed table's. The tables under the tent is super warm but the other tables can have you feeling pretty cold if the wind picks up.
No, Japanese ramen
Mainly pork bone broth
