First time in this peer. Wanting to visit since my last time in Brooklyn last year but didn’t get the chance to come. It has a nice view of the night skyline of southeast Manhattan. It gave me the opportunity to take some decent night shots. It rained earlier so it was muggy, but still enjoyable this early in the summer. Lots of people still in the park after 11 pm.

I encourage everyone who enjoys nature to visit Brooklyn bridge park, it has an amazing view of Manhattan, and you can have picnics and family gathering. It is great to take someone out on a date, catch up with a friend, or to be alone with yourself. Although it is downtown which is in the city. The park has a way of making you feel connected to nature while enjoying the scenic views. There are also various of restaurants around the place as well as some sweets to indulge yourself when you do get hungry. Although I usually go to the park in the evening until night. I can assure you, you will enjoy yourself regardless if you are a morning bird or a night owl.

A lovely spot for families to spend time together. Nice restaurants nearby. Carousel was a nice touch. The vibe was so different than across the river in Manhattan. It was worth the ride over. We took a ferry over and an Uber back so we got the full experience.

What a great way to spend the day!!! The park consists of so many things for everyone. There are volley ball courts, soccer fields, playgrounds, water park, ice cream places restaurants and shopping. The bathrooms are abundant and clean. Parking was easy since there are metered parking. 2$ an hour. Take the family and have an incredible day in Brooklyn.

You may find a cab yes, but its not on a major road so theyre not as frequent. You can always call a cab—or better yet, get an Uber right to where you are.
No parking isn't easy take pot luck if you go early you may get a park.
I encountered someone from NYHS promoting vaccination

Yes it is free
Street parking is difficult, especially at peak times like weekends, but, there are parking garages on nearby blocks.
There is street parking near piers 1 and 6 if you have time and patience. You can also find pay lots on both ends.
