We had an awesome time! Capt Lenora got us out to a mother and baby! Her knowledge of manatees and guidance on how to swim with them made for an amazing time! The manatees were comfortable with us enough so that the baby manatee explored away from the mom for a bit. We heard them munching on the sea grass and even heard the baby communicating with the mom. Thank you Capt Lenora for this truly amazing experience!

What a great experience. From the pre trip help to the actual swimming with the Manatees. Captain Craig was great. He got us to a spot with 6-8 active adults and we had a great time with them.

I've always wanted to swim with dolphins, but after visiting another attraction where I learned about manatees, we decided to come swim here in the natural habitat rather than a pool with the dolphins. I was having problems booking online, so I emailed and was able to reserve our spot that way. We had our three younger kiddos, so it took a minute to find a place for us to get in the water where they wouldn't startle the manatees away from other swimmers, but we did finally find a spot! Captain Lenora was mindful of others while still making sure we were able to have our experience. Our in water helper, Karla, was great also! She helped my 5 year old get up to where she could see, and had lots of information to share about the amazing creatures and the area around. When we're visiting FL with just adults, we are definitely taking a scuba diving course to get to experience that!

OMG Captain Parker & Sailor were a blast to join for a manatee adventure cruise! Captain was a comedian, cracking us up, and knowledgeable about the wildlife. Very calm demeanor with my 5 and 7 year old girl's who enjoyed his and Sailors company. We met many of the manatees and some were so curious they stayed and hung out with us for a good chunk of time. Such an AWESOME family experience!!! We highly recommended and will be back ourselves to cruise the river with Captain Parker & Sailor🤩

If you know all the laws.
Yes we do
Yes, reservations are a must. I hope this helps
Yes of coarse
Yes they are on the boat as required by law. However, when actually swimming they provide pool - noodles that you tuck across your chest and under the arm pits (you'll see pictures of this). Together with the wetsuit this provides enough flotation that you stay at the top of the water and are stable. If you wore a life jacket while snorkeling you'd be too high and too upright to put your face in the water. If you are not having a phobia about water, then you'll be fine. All you need to do is float and look around.
No. You will not see a lot but there should be a few there. There are a lot more in the colder months when they come for the warmer waters. My wife and I went in July and got to swim with a mother and young one which was really cool. That said, the two of them weren't very interested in us (although they didn't swim away or get frightened). In the winter months when there are lots of them, several may actually swim up to you and want to be petted and rubbed on. Either way, you won't be disappointed. PS: as a side note, bring a bag of peanuts to drop off at monkey island for the residents there.
I am a Local Boat Captain and Tour Guide in that area. I can tell you 100 percent that you will have No issue with alligators. The Captains at Swim with the Manatees operate in Pristine Springs and Crystal Clear Waters. Not at all a place that gators would want to hang out at.
The manatees are not harmed as they are protected species. Guides make sure you are aware if laws and what you can and cannot do. Also are watching interactions of visitors and manatees while you are in water. Great experience for all.
This business is a great way to see them
After you put on wetsuit and watch the short video, about 3 hours overall.
Most likely not since the water temperature does not exceed much greater than 72 degrees.
In a few weeks they should be in, they are on the Crystal River for sure and these guys host both rivers
