I’ve called and texted multiple times to initiate an order for chicks. They answered a single text, and ignored the rest. I’m almost thankful they’ve ignored me now that I’ve read the other reviews - it seems this is a common theme for this hatchery. To say the least the communication is poor and i have not been able to been get as far as placing an order for chicks.

I ordered 6 chicks and my experience was pretty good. When I placed my order, they set up a pick up date and assured me that I would be able to get the six breeds that I picked out. However only two days before my original pick up day, they called me and told me it would have to be the following week. I had took work off that day to drive all the way up there, so it was a bit irritating that I had to take another day off the following week. My chicks seem healthy, and they are very active. Overall it was a good experience.

We found The Poultry Hatchery through a friend and are so very happy we did! They were able to assist us with a same day order of specialty chicks (that we ordered at the last minute), even though they were extremely busy all day! They are very personable and knowledgeable about all their chicks. We are currently waiting for a few roosters and other chicks to come in, but all of the chicks we picked up during our visit were happy and healthy! Those same chicks are growing very well and we have not had any problems with any of them! I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and organization demonstrated by this business. We will DEFINITELY be doing business with them in the future. I highly recommend The Poultry Hatchery!

Ordering on the phone was easy and efficient. I got my chicks for backyard chickens and I'd use The Poultry Hatchery again when I need more birds. They were nice and their selection of breeds are amazing. My chicks are one week old now and they are thriving, they are happy and healthy. The location has a nice little store and the workers were really nice to me and my family. I am very excited to raise these chicks and The Poultry Hatchery made it happen! We were a little sad they didn't have Ameraucanas that was on the list for us to pick up, but they really explained how hatching sometimes fails and too many males are born sometimes. They replaced the chick with a different breed. Now we have 6 different breeds to start! Keep the good work and I wish this company the best!
